I have a few stories but im going to start with the one that I will never forget the pain and the feeling I had when we lost Bea. RIP FOREVER BLAZENmom asked if I want to go look at a TB mare at heidi's house, and so i went and I saw a Beautiful Dark bay mare standing about 2 feet over my head. I went over and started stroking her neck, she looked around and nickerd in my ear and thats when I knew I was going to be riding and training my freind for life. heidi had told us that she is in foal and is due Febuary 6th 2001. mom was a little hesitant to bring her home becuase of that but becuase Bea was so sweet and gentle with me we decided that we would take her. because she only had about 1 month before she was do we werent going to start any type of training with her. (she had basic stuff of accepting a saddle and rider and had rack and pin stearing but that was it) so I spent the month brushing her and letting her get to know me. well every thing went fine until Febuary 6 came when we had no baby and know sign of a baby. we watched very closely and 1 and ahalf weeks passed before we had a new born baby on the ground, I go out to feed and i walked in and there was laying Bea and her new baby, I was so excited I ran back to the house got mom and called hiedi (we had never foaled out a mare before and she was helping us) hidie came in and said right now every thing looked really good and we gave the baby all the shots and every thing and mom took me to school and as soon as I came home I ran back out there to the barn backpack and all and right behind me a few minutes later hidie walk in to check on the baby again, every thing looked good with the baby but something wasnt normal with Bea she had a HUGE lump on her hip that hidie said wasnt normal so she left and I had mom call hidie as soon as she got home and hidie came back after she got done with chorse and stuff and bea got sicker and sicker and was really sweety hours after ben had come along so I go in and call the vet and John came out did all her could until he told us that he had a more serious case, but bea was laying down flat and hasnt gotten up for a few hours. so I go back and hidie tells me to call Terri Bloomfeild she gave me the number and raced in and terri was there with in about 10-15 minutes (and I finly know how she got there so quick she only lives about 5 minutes away from me) she comes in and starts an IV emediatly but we knew we had a problem when we couldnt get the needle to stay in the vain (meaning she was extremely dehidrated) we did every thing we could until exactly 48 hours to the minute she tried to get up (after struggling to get up but never sucedeed over the 48 time period) and broke her right front leg we had to put her down, I had went in the house to call some freinds to see if they knew any thing we could try becuase i new that the longer she stayed down the less chance she had of serviving and a few minutes later my brother comes in telling me to go to mammies (my g-ma) and I go up and I see mom and terri sitting on the couch and love seat and terri asked me to come sit down beside her, and she put her arm around me and asked me if I would want to see Bea suffer and I said no and then she said that for now on bea will be taken care of and will be in no more pain. IM SORRY GUYS I CANT FINISH THIS RIGHT NOW, its just to hard for me to right

sorry guys right then there was a house full of people and stuff and I didnt need them seeing me cry, and I was fighting back tears wile typing what I did.
heres the rest of the story, so I knew what was coming next and she said (and every thing she said to me was in a gentle comforting tone) I have done every thing in my power but bea will have to be put down. and of course right then I just starting BALLING my eyes out so terri sat there on the couch craddling me like I was a small child rocking me back and forth until I had calmed down, and then she asked me if I wanted to say good bye, and still to this day I kick my self because I didnt go out there for the last time to tell her I loved her.
but we were able to save her baby ben which he is doing great except he is extremely pushy from being an orphan and not having his mom to tell him whats right and wrong.

Aww. I love that story JJ! So sad...url=http://planetsmilies.net] [/url] Today I was at the barn cleaning stalls and this one horse(he's 17.2HH, BIG) we let wander around the property eating grass. He's a big harmless goof and usually stays out of trouble. Anyway, I came out with a wheelbarrow full of poo and was about to dump it on the pile when I noticed that he was out on the road(This road is really quiet not many cars drive by). Just then a white truck drove by. He didn't care at all, he was just calmly eating grass by the side of the road. lol! So I went over there to go get him and when he saw me coming he walked back in through the gate and right over to me. He's such a goof. He pretended like nothing had happened. haha We usually close the gate so he doesn't go out, but he was way at the other end of the property eating grass so we didn't bother. Guess he got bored over there! haha

LOL i love the big tall goofy horses that dont have a wory in the world. LOL
but im riding a syco horse AKA baby bear LOL
ok well it was just more funny then any thing.
I was out riding for the first time in 3 weeks (the weather horrible and me being sick i just couldnt go out) and he started out realy good and Im walking and troting around the feild and I soon ask him for a canter, and he goes up into a canter but he was really fresh and first he tries just making sharp turns to get me off so he could run and play (it was kinda slick on the grass so I was keeping held in and the pasture isnt big enough for that kind of riding) well when that didnt work he started doing flying lead changes right before and right after the little ditch and he would make it as rough as possible (and this was all while I was keeping him reined in) until he flat out descided that he didnt want to go in this canter any longer and he took off as fast as he could across the pasture, well at that point he wasnt stoping or even thinking about stoping so I held him straight and fenced him well he stoped all right but when he did he through down his head and gave a buck at the same time and I went up and over the fince and landed in the back yard. but the funest is babys face when he seen me laying on the ground mom said that he had that look like haha but as soon as I got up and climbed the fence his hole expression changed to OOO shoot. LOL
