Mine is only fifty dollars for two horses. That's only a trim and no shoes, though. We usually give him sixty dollars to help with the gas costs.

My old farrier actually just passed away. RIP Toni He was the most amazing farrier EVER! He cared about the horses, always explained everything to me and was very good! He was only I think 35 when he died a few weeks ago. His bill for trims and 4 shoes was about $117. And he had to drive an hour to come and do her feet.

aww im so sorry Mia,
for 1 horse is like 25 for trims and like 40 for shoes. but I dont think he charges quite that much for ben since he only gets 1 shoe we are trying to get his foot straightned out and hes not being ridden right now and he stays in soft ground all the time.
but my John is AWSOME he is so gentle and easy going and I have never seen him ever lay a hard hand on a horse. and he said he was under a german dressage and jumping trainer that was really really mean he said probebly one of the meanest you will see. but he said that she wouldnt let you in a saddle or with a briddle until you could jump 4ft with your arms out the the side (i have seen pictures of him doing this). I asked him how hi he has jumped 6ft he cant any more becuase of some sort of injury but he wouldnt tell me what happend or what part of him got hurt. but do to he is always bracing his knee im thinking it was something do to that.

AWW, I'm sorry Mia. I think my farrier does care but just doesn't have as much knowledge as he should.
Mia, when your farrier comes does he come and do everyones in your town or just you?

My farrier came and would do the barn that I work at's horses and then mine as well. He was really nice though and if she lost a shoe he would come out just to put it back on.

Less than $60. Mitch charges $25 per horse for trimming, and my horses don't get shoes, so I don't know how much it costs for that.
