ok I decided to make a seprate log for Snoopy since she is our new horse and needs some work. She is getting better! Her only prob is that she doesn't sometimes pay attention. We also uses a tie-down on her. And i'm working on her I guess you can call it her wp trot and lope.
So my dad plowed up this pasture and when I saw it I was liike, ah ha, a new place to ride, so I took advantage of it today! We are going to call it the "arena" lol.
The gate to the arena is right by our barn and Snoopy has a habbit when you ride by the barn that it must be time to stop, so we worked on that today, lol! I don't want to bore you with every detail, but what I did was rode her the outside of the arena by the fence and when we got bye the barn I made her keep going. Eventually she finally realized that when she see's the barn its not time ot go, lol! And while doing that I worked on her trot and lope. See she has this wonderful trot, but doesn't keep it long,. So she trotted then wanted to stop, trot stop, you get it. Well evntually she troted all around the circle of the arena even past the barn! Then loped the circle and right past the barn. I was sooo happy! At the begginng she was giving me such a hard time and at the end it was like she was a different horse!
If you have any suggestions, they are welcome!!

Thats awesome!!! Sometimes I would ride around the property instead of in the arena, and Lady started doing that a little bit too. What I did was make her walk right past it and then get off somewhere else and lead her back to the barn. That sort of made her realize that she wasn't done riding when she went past the barn. Sounds like your doing a good job with Snoopy!!!

Thanks! I'll try that too, because it bugs me when she does that and that sounds like a good idea!
