No, I don't spend more then 15 minutes getting it out. And she usually doesn't roll anyways but when she does she get covered. I just take a metal curry comb and scrape it off, its fast. Her mane and tail doesn't get mud in it.

Ya I know eh. Wel she lives in the mud so her feet get really dirty. And the mud pulls her shoes off so I have to re-shoe more often. But its been dry so far this sumer (for the most part anyways) and it was dry last summer. Hopefully it'll stay dry

I don't care cuz I hardly ever bathe my horse. I just hose her ff and put her out, it takes 3 min. Plus shes bay so when she does roll the mud wont stain

That would suck, ya, Shadow would be a good horse to have a light coat since she hardly ever rolls, but I'm not complaining. At shows shes in a stall and I don't even have to brush her, but i do cuz it calms me down.

I usually don't like to brush my horse but at shows I get SO incredably nervious so it relaxes me.. One time I was sitting, waiting to go in, I was like 3 or 4 up and Shadow started freaking out because of my nerves. So my instructor made me go out and lope tiny semi-circles. It worked. She also would ask me questions as she quickly combed through her mane and tail (I comb it before but we ride in the wind so she combs it again.

I think everyone does. Well most people at least. My instructor ALWAYS says have fun before I go in. Its never good luck, its always have fun. And really things go better when your having fun but I can never just go in and have fun, I go in and my heart is beating a million time a minute.
