Ya, in summer I clip her face, bridal path, whiskers and any stray hairs. I do it befoer every show. Gotta look our best for the judges.

Yep, I usually get help to do her ears, I have to have someone tighten and hold this thing around her nose to relax her, it works like a charm

lol really, Shadows fine with having her nose touched, which is good cuz I love petting horses nostrils, its SO soft! (not like the inside but the top outside part). I grab her top lip and put a rop around it, twist it until its tight and it hits a certian spot that triggers the brain to relax them. Its weird but it works.

My horses don't like thier noses touched I love petting thier nose too but mine wont let me!!! I can't grab their lips, they think I'm going to give them wormer HAHAHA!!! I do good to be able to ride em! haha!!

LoL. Shadow use to not let me touch her but just cuz she was a grump, after 11 months she'll finaly let me touch her face and actually enjoys it.

I've had Blondie for 6 years and she still wont let me touch her ears or nose. Well she does but she jerks up

Maybe just work on it. Shadow use to flinch every time I raised my hand so I took her into the arena and stood in front of her. I'd move my hands close to her eyes then pet in between them. And I move them fast and I jump up adn down and side to side adn just do it for like 7 sec then pet her. It only took one day now shes good.

I've tried but the people that owned her before would twist her ears to get her to kneel instead of doing it the right way so she is very afreaid of us twisting them. Her nose I don't know why she wont let us pet her nose.

Ya, with clippers. I just do it before a show cuz who cares if she looks scragaly when were working at home. But I really need to cut her bridal path, she dosn't hvae one anymore, The hair is 6 inches long.
