you look really good in posting your on the correct diaganal however try to lean your uper body back some.

Thanks for the critique. Ya, most of the non pro people will strech their arms out like that to give a bigger que. Most pro's will strech it out to an extent but usually not that far. Some dont at all. I'll try to bring my arm back a bit more. Also, it kinda depends on the horse. With some horses if you hand isn't right up close to their ears (like only a few inches away) it holds them back and they wont run full speed. But Shadow isn't like that thankfully. It makes you have a bad seat when they need that. But ya, Brian has also got me fanning my legs with every stride to set the tempo which will give me more control over her speed so my hand probably wont need to go up as high. The fanning isnt a big noticable thing, the legs just come off a few inches then back on with the beat of each stride, just to clear that up because if I read that I'd think like big fanning legs comming off far.
