Today my mom and me went riding and i did really well!!!! When we went down these big trench ditches cattle crossing acroos the creek things, i concentrated and did good!!! i breathed when we loped (i find myself holding it at times and get cramps) and i didn't need to use my horn! Even Peanut did well! sorry, but i've really progressed. Now Peanut and me are in traing, lol, for going on a l o n g trail ride!!!

YAY! I can lope bareback without holding on ;D I think I even did it with one hand lol but I used to have to hang on soooo much! Maybe it's because I'm riding a pony that doesn't go very fast now lol. Congrats!

I LOVE bareback. At our christmas party we did bareback and it was a contest and we had to do walk trot (sitting and posting), spinning (with and without the reins), sliding stops, rollbacks, all that jazz. It was so fun, except the sliding stops were so painful

yes im vary proud I remember I started riding when I was about 3 (double since the horses were way to much for me to handle) and I didnt start cantering bare back until I was about 11 then I stoped since I didnt have horse that i could stay on long enough in the trot to go to a canter so i didnt start back up again until i was about 12 or 13 then after a few weeks of cantering straight in are lane I finly got into are big field and that is when i started easing up on my grip until i wasnt hanging on at all and know I canter every were bareback on baby LOL
we have a 25 year old mustang that was the first horse that i cantered on with out hanging on to but I have resently been able to do a slow spin bareback on her (i have to go slow since she is old) but I havent had that much experance in a real spin and I finly did a slow one last night bare back
BUT I AM VARY PROUD OF YOU AND WITH ME AFTER I CANTERD BAREBACK I PROGRESSED REALLY QUICKLY SO HOPE YOU WILL TO

me to. That sounds fun. I doubled once with my friend on another friends horse. He needed lots more training still so she led him with me and my friend both on. He has a really bouncy trot and she started to trot him and I thaught I was gonna fall but I didn't
