Got on, loped circles for a while. We had just watered the arena and I was the only one riding. Since I only did circles those were the only tracks on the ground and it looked really really nice. It was like a perfect figure 8. Then Brian came out and I continued to lope more circles. After what seemed like forever he told me to start fencing which went pretty well. Next we did our rollback drill and we worked that for a while and I had to make not only a hand corrrection but a seat correction as well because he's been letting me slsck on it and well, I fall into habits very easily. I tend to go with what feels better (like more natural) instead of the proper way to do certian things. After rollbacks I had to do more circles. I sat in the middle for a few min to see if he was going to tell me to do anything else and he didn't so I dismounted.

Loped for a while, boring as usual, we had a few minor problems ut nothing to bad. She did what I assume to be her version of a buck a few times when I kicked her durring circles which was very odd. Brian came out after a long time and we did a little bit of fencing which went alright. She took the leads I asked for. I guess it was just that one day that was off. Then we did our rollback drill which went alright as well. They're getting better. Lastly we did spinning. It was really good. Then he had me lope around while he got his horse ready but I got off before he came out because I'm so sick of circles, I just wanted to be done.

Tuesday: Brian was already riding by the time I got there so I got Shadow tacked as quickly as I could. I did a bunch of circles framing her up then Brian had me to some big big small (bigs fast, small slow). Then he had me do more stupid cirlces. I HATE easy-passed circles framing her up, and I have to do SO much of it. After a while he had me go to the center and work spinning. We only did it a few times each way. We never over-train anything...except circles that is. Then we did flying lead changes which we alright I suppose, shes still hoppign up to much. Lastly we did roll-backs which are much improved! Then to end the session, more circles! What else?
Wednesday: didnèt ride because I had to pick courses for school then go get my hair done.
Rode today after cleaning stalls. Brian ame out briefly to tell me to circle her until shes sweaty. Honestly, thats what I do everytime he's not around. I know better than to work rollbbacks or spins or lead changes. So I cricled her and as usual, it was a bore-fest. Then I tried to scrub off the crusties on her legs with Dawn dish soap. Shes got this weird thing on her legs and brian tells me it'll come out with scrubbing but I've been scrubbing adn no such luck. So we tried dish soap since shampoo and just plain using water doesn't work. I also shampooed her tail because she had rubbed it yet again. I figured I'd take care of it before I got told to cllean it with Iodine cuz I dont know where it is and never get an answer when I ask.

Just to fill everyone in on whats happening. I'm trying to sell Shadow and I might have a buyer. I'm really happy because my dad was trying to give her away so I'll be glad to be able to get a little money for her since she has to go anyways.
All my tack is in Thunder Bay where my mom and sister will be moving to in about a week. So when I ride bareback with a halter and 2 lead ropes as a bridle set. She goes really nicely in a halter and lead. She gives her face very easily and everything at a walk and trot. Not so much at a lope but shes never been one to lope with her head down.

Its a good and bad thing that I have to sell her. Its good because its eating a hole in my pocket. I can't afford to go to McDonalds I'm so broke. But of coarse its really sad for me.
I think what I'm going to do is go to T-Bay and take english lessons for a while and see how I like that. Once I'm done college or unniversity I'll decide if I want to buy a horse or not. I wont be able to afford one for a long time. And I dont know if I want to continue reining or switch to english or what. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. But ya, if I do reining I'll have to move somewhere else, probably Alberta.
